Report an error
Write to editorial@ycle.org with the following information:
- The title and web address of the page.
- The passage, figure, link or publication field concerned.
- A concise explanation of the problem.
- The original document or other evidence supporting the correction.
For a statistical question, include the measure, period, unit and edition where available. For a translation issue, identify the language and the relevant passage in the original work.
Review and correction
The review examines the wording in context and checks the relevant evidence. An inaccurate fact, an incomplete attribution and a later change in circumstances require different responses. A disagreement with an interpretation can also be considered, with the underlying fact and the interpretation assessed separately.
A material factual correction identifies the change in the affected text. Typographical and layout errors can be corrected directly. If an external document has moved, the reference can be updated to the same work; a replacement with a different edition is identified where that difference matters.
Source and access problems
A source report can concern an inaccessible document, a wrong publisher, an incorrect date or a link leading to a different work. The relevant library record and the proposed original address help establish the correct reference.
Problems with navigation, keyboard controls, text enlargement or an inaccessible file can be reported through Accessibility. Requests concerning personal information use the separate route in the Privacy Notice.
Editorial correspondence
The Editorial Policy sets out attribution, translation and source standards. Using the Sources explains editions and statistical references. General questions about the organisation can be sent through Contact.
